Dedicated educators are needed to join the departments of computer science, applied economics, and enterprises management at the Institute of Applied Sciences (INES-Ruhengeri). INES-Ruhengeri, which trains accountants, entrepreneurs, economists, software developers, software engineers, and IT specialists, is a major contributor to the social and economic growth of the country. In light of this, INES-Ruhengeri is seeking capable individuals with the necessary qualifications for the roles listed in the following table:
Role: Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Accounting Option
Job description
-giving tutorials, lectures, and seminars.
-Create creative course materials.
-Assist with current research initiatives and mentor students.
-Make judgments and offer insightful criticism.
-Take part in faculty governance and community development programs.
Work Description
- Ph.D.in Accounting;
- Equivalence of the degree certificate in case the degree was obtained abroad (Outside of Rwanda);
- Have a good command of English (Oral and Written);
- Having experience of at least 2 years in Academics;
- Research experience is preferred;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong commitment to student success and active learning;
- Exceptional organizational and teamwork abilities;
- Having CPA certificate will be an added value.

- Candidates should have among others competence and knowledge, in web and apps development using Java, Python, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL BASED databases (MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra) and General programming (C, C++, C# and Java); with also knowledge in networking technologies, servers such as Linux and Windows 2012;
- Having experience of at least 2 years in Academics;
- Research experience is preferred;
