He stated that the two parties should advance the construction of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, ensure the safe and stable operation of China-Europe freight trains, and promote high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.

They should also deepen cooperation in areas like trade, investment, oil and gas, and photovoltaics. Lastly, he suggested strengthening connectivity.

In order to strengthen the public base of friendship between China and Azerbaijan, he added, the two sides should also engage in more exchanges in fields like education, culture, and tourism, as well as between the young of the two countries and at the sub-national level.

According to Xi, China is in favor of Azerbaijan hosting the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

He stated that China is prepared to collaborate with Azerbaijan in advancing global peace, stability, and development as well as equitable and orderly multipolarity and inclusive, broadly beneficial economic globalization.

The joint announcement by the two countries of the formation of the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and China, he added, was very important for the advancement of bilateral ties.

According to him, Azerbaijan is committed to upholding the one-China concept and supporting China’s noble cause of national reunification, which is a historical trend that cannot be stopped by any means.

According to Aliyev, Azerbaijan is prepared to fortify its alliance and cooperation with China, seize opportunities, expand cooperation within the Belt and Road framework in areas like trade, investment, economy, new energy, and culture, work closely with other countries in the SCO and other frameworks, fend off outside meddling, and protect security and stability in the region.
