SEASON 1 :The Unexpected Call
One day, a young man named Lucas was sitting at home, feeling bored. He had airtime on his phone but didn’t know who to call. As he thought about what to do, he got a funny idea: he would call random numbers just to see who answered. With nothing else to do, he decided to go ahead with his plan.
Lucas started dialing different numbers, changing just one digit each time. Many times, the calls were answered by men, and sometimes by women. Each time someone answered, Lucas would ask, “Where is the owner of this number?” Most people replied that they were the owner, and Lucas would hang up, slightly amused but not really interested.
Then, one call was different. A woman answered, and Lucas felt a bit nervous. He asked, “Where is the owner of this number?” The woman, sounding amused, said, “They went shopping. When they come back, I’ll tell them to call you.” Lucas sighed with relief and joked, “Phew, I thought I was in trouble.” After this call, like the others, he deleted the number from his phone.
About thirty minutes later, Lucas’s phone rang. He answered without recognizing the number. “Who is this? I don’t recognize this number,” he said. A calm young woman’s voice replied, “My mother said someone called looking for me, and this was the number she gave me.”
Lucas felt his anxiety return. He quickly said, “I’m sorry, I must have dialed the wrong number. I hope I didn’t waste your time.” The woman, sounding surprised but not upset, said, “Next time, make sure you have the right number before calling.”
With that, she hung up. Lucas felt embarrassed. He saved the number in his phone as “The Scary Lady” to remind himself of the awkward situation. A few days later, while Lucas was using WhatsApp, he noticed that “The Scary Lady” had posted a status update. Curious, he opened it and found it was something very funny. Unable to resist, he replied with several laughing emojis and added, “You made my day!”
It was around 11:35 PM. The woman, surprised by the unknown number replying to her status, wrote back, “Really?” This started a conversation between them. They introduced themselves, but Lucas didn’t tell her that he was the one who had called by mistake.
Lucas was naturally funny and made the conversation light and enjoyable. The woman, whose name was Emma, laughed a lot and had a great time chatting with him. She found Lucas very entertaining and charming, even though they had never met. That night, Emma went to bed smiling, thinking about their conversation. She felt happy and looked forward to talking to him again. The next day, Emma sent Lucas a message. Lucas was “Surprised and he don’t believe what he saw.” !!!.
